The LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants universe is expanding with the launch of the first LEGO building set for adult fans based on the popular Nickelodeon franchise, featuring SpongeBob’s pineapple house, Squidward’s Easter Island-inspired home, Patrick Star’s rock and a colorful Jellyfish Fields display.
The LEGO Group unveiled the LEGO Icons SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom Building Set as part of the celebrations surrounding the first International SpongeBob Day and the animated character’s birthday.
Developed in collaboration with Paramount Products & Experiences, the new collectible set includes 1,794 pieces and recreates some of the most recognizable locations, characters and objects from the animated series, which has entertained audiences for more than 25 years.
The set will be available for preorder beginning July 14, 2026, before going on general sale on September 1, 2026.
What is included in the LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom set?
The LEGO Icons SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom Building Set, identified by product number 11386, is designed for builders aged 18 and older.
At the center of the display is SpongeBob SquarePants’ pineapple house, recreated with its familiar exterior and a detailed interior. Builders can explore a fully furnished living room and bedroom while discovering references to episodes and memorable moments from the television series.
The set also includes Squidward Tentacles’ house, which is inspired by the famous stone statues of Easter Island. Inside, fans will find a carefully decorated living space that reflects the character’s distinctive personality.
Patrick Star’s minimalist residence is represented by his famous rock. Despite its seemingly simple exterior, the structure opens to reveal the surprising interior where Patrick lives.
A Jellyfish Fields scene completes the underwater display and adds color to the recreation of Bikini Bottom. The entire model measures more than 24 centimeters high, 54 centimeters wide and 13 centimeters deep.
Which SpongeBob SquarePants characters appear in the LEGO set?
The building set introduces SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward as LEGO Minifigures. Gary the Snail and DoodleBob are included as brick-built characters.
DoodleBob, one of the animated series’ most unpredictable creations, adds an element of chaos to the display and serves as another reference aimed at longtime fans.
The model also contains several hidden details and accessories connected to the history of SpongeBob SquarePants. Among them are the character’s boatmobile, Squidward’s clarinet, a portrait of Gary and a Krabby Patty.
These elements allow adult builders to recreate scenes from the show while also using the finished model as a display piece.
When will the LEGO SpongeBob SquarePants set be released?

The completed figure measures more than eight centimeters high. It will be available for preorder beginning July 14, 2026, before its general release on September 1, 2026.

The two releases expand the range of officially licensed SpongeBob SquarePants merchandise managed through Paramount Products & Experiences, the division responsible for consumer products and location-based experiences connected to Paramount franchises and brands such as Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, CBS and MTV.
SpongeBob SquarePants is one of Nickelodeon’s most recognized franchises worldwide. The new LEGO products use familiar characters, locations and visual references to appeal both to younger builders and adults who grew up watching the animated series.
